Scottish personal debt solution analysis: FOI release
Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Information requested
I am looking to analyse Scottish personal debt solutions per organisation operating in this market and should therefore be obliged to receive the following information in relation to the period 1 January 2024 to 31 July 2024:
1. The number of new Trust Deed, Sequestration (split into both debtor and creditor led) and DAS arrangements entered into/registered during this period. This information should also be split into the relevant firm/company any appointed Trustee belongs to.
2. The average debt level per each case type (DAS, TD & Seqn) and firm/company any appointed Trustee belongs to.
3. The average monthly contribution per case type (DAS, TD & Seqn) and firm/company any appointed Trustee belongs to.
4. The total number of open cases (DAS, TD & Seqn) per firm/company any appointed Trustee belongs to as at todays date.
