Updates to briefing note written for Richard Lochhead: FOI release

Information requested
This is a follow up request to a previous FOI response. Your ref: 202400424944
1. The above referenced FOI response includes a briefing note for Richard Lochhead, written by Hilary Pearce and dated 30th September 2022. Please provide all subsequent updates to this briefing note. In other words: all briefing notes covering the same subject matter which were written after 30th September 2022.
2. In particular, and even if not included in any subsequent briefing notes, I would like to see all updates to the table of data in section (3.) of the 30th September 2022 briefing note. In other words: all versions of the table titled "Current Claim values" prepared since 30th September 2022.
Response
1. Briefing note is attached.
2. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the costs of locating, retrieving and providing the information requested would exceed the upper cost limit of £600. This is because your request resulted in volumnious search results which would take a significant amount of time to review and, where necessary, redact. Under section 12 of FOISA public authorities are not required to comply with a request for information if the authority estimates that the cost of complying would exceed the upper cost limit, which is currently set at £600 by Regulations made under section 12.
You may, however, wish to consider reducing the scope of your request in order that the costs can be brought below £600. You may also find it helpful to look at the Scottish Information Commissioner's 'Tips for requesting information under FOI and the EIRs' on his website at:
