Response
The records we hold relate to collisions where someone is injured or killed, and which become known to Police Scotland. Therefore we do not hold information on non-injury collisions.
The following table provides figures for injury collisions recorded by Police Scotland as taking place on the A96 between Raigmore Interchange, Inverness and the junction between the A96 and King Street, Aberdeen. This is the full length of the A96.
Please note that the figures for 2023 and 2024 are provisional as they are based on monthly returns received thus far from Police Scotland in 2024, with the most recent returns being received on 10th September 2024. This may be an incomplete picture of casualties up to that date due to a slight lag between records processed by Police Scotland and data availability. These figures are also subject to change due to subsequent corrections and late records.
