1. How much ScotWind funding was drawn down in 2023-24?
2. How much of this drawdown was actually spent in 2023-24?
3. How much, if any, of what was drawn down in 2023-24 was carried forward to 2024-25?
Response
No ScotWind revenues were drawn down or spent in 2023-24.
£660 million of ScotWind Revenues remain available for the Scottish Government to utilise. £200 million of this was profiled to support the funding position in the 2024-25 Scottish Budget.
In the Fiscal Statement to parliament on 3 September, the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government announced the plan to utilise up to £460 million of the remaining ScotWind revenue funding in the current financial year.
Final decisions on the utilisation of Scotwind Revenues in 2024-25 will be taken in due course and set out as part of budgetary revisions in autumn and spring.
