Information requested

Of the budget cuts announced by the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government on 3 September 2024, any further breakdown of the details of these cuts. For example, if this data has a ‘level 4’ breakdown similar to what is published after Scottish Government budgets. Please provide the specific cuts at level 4 level or an otherwise more specific breakdown than is published in the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government’s letter to the Finance and Public Administration Committee on 3 September 2024.

Response

The table below provides the savings included in Annex A of the letter from Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government to the Finance and Public Administration Committee dated 3 September 2024 at budget level four. Further details of movements of savings between budget lines will be communicated to Parliament through the Autumn and Spring Budget Revisions.
