Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

Of the 131 Public Bodies listed in the FOI response 202400431071, which of the bodies carry out functions which are set out in statute? Please state the bodies that have functions conferred on them via legislation and if possible please state the legislation which confers these functions.

Response

I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested.

The answers to your questions are in the attached spreadsheet. Where there are gaps in the detail Web addresses are provided for the public body where the specific details can be obtained. The information is also available at Legislation.gov.uk. Legislation.gov.uk carries most (but not all) types of legislation and their accompanying explanatory documents.

Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a copy.
