Information requested

Information relating to the First Home Fund Shared Equity Scheme:

1. How much was allocated to the scheme from when it was launched to when it expired.

2. How much was actually paid out to individuals throughout the duration of the scheme to individuals to enable them to purchase a property.

3. How much has been repaid from the sale of property or full/partial repayment from individuals who originally used the scheme to purchase a property.

4. From the funds received back from the sale of property or full/partial repayment, what has been the total loss or gain from the original funds issued to enable the individual(s) to purchase the property.

Response

3. By the end of September 2024, £42.5milion has been received from the sales of equity stakes funded by the First Homes Fund Scheme.

4. By the end of September 2024, the gain on the sale of equity stakes under this scheme is £6.3milion.
