Pass rates for National 5 and Higher Exams: FOI release
Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
Information requested
Please provide the pass rates as a percentage of children who obtained a grade A-C for national 5 and higher by school and subject for all the secondary schools in Dumfries and Galloway for exams sat in 2023 and 2024.
The data should be presented in two spreadsheets, one for each year.
Each spreadsheet should contain the name of the schools down the side, with each subject and level (nat 5 or higher) along the top forming a grid with each corresponding cell containing the % of pupils that passed each subject at each school.
The % should be calculated by dividing the number of pupils for each school and subject that achieved a grade of a,b or c by the total number of pupils that sat the same exam at the school. If the subject wasn’t available at the school the cell should be filled with n/a.
