2. The names of the bars and restaurants that are accessible to the public at its various premises, offices and buildings and what are their names.
None of the facilities listed in the table above are open to the public.
3. Can I ask if any of them have a public subsidy and if so how much for each establishment for each year since 2010/11 up to and including the part year of 2024/25.
The Scottish Government pays a subsidy towards the operational costs of the Catering Services contract. The level of subsidy is agreed on an annual basis as part of the budget setting process. The details requested are provided in the attached document.
4. What are the takings for drinks including alcoholic beverages in each of these premises and separately what are the takings for food and non-alcoholic beverages for each of the years and part year referred to above.
Income from retail sales does not distinguish between food and drink. Details for combined food and drink income are provided in the attached document. For the avoidance of doubt, these facilities do not serve alcoholic drinks.
5. Can I ask what the takings are for drinks and separately for food for all functions hosted by the Scottish Government that are not associated with the takings of bars and restaurants referred to above.
The Scottish Government does not derive ‘takings’ (income) from any functions that it hosts.
