Individuals currently on secondment or loan to the Scottish Government: FOI release

Information requested
Where an individual has a Scottish Government pass who is currently on secondment or loan to the Scottish Government, please state which employer they are on loan or secondment from. Please list all the employers that these individuals are on secondment or loan from, how many of them there are and why they are on secondment to the Scottish Government.
Response
1. Loans: This is where an existing civil servant is loaned to Scottish Government from another Government department.
2. Secondments: This is where someone from outside the Civil Service is seconded to the Scottish Government on a temporary basis.
Individuals on loan or secondment can bring in additional skills, experience and knowledge to the business area, which can benefit them and the other staff members they are working alongside.
Please find enclosed, the list of secondments and loans currently on assignment which shows the business area they are designated to along with the donor organisation/employer.
