In relation to the meeting papers you requested, please find attached a word document relating to NHS Chief Executives providing some of the information you requested. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable provide some of the information because exemptions under the following sections apply:
- s.30(b)(i) (free and frank provision of advice); and
- s.38(1)(b) (personal information).
The reasons why these exemptions apply are explained in the Annex to this letter.
Other Background
Following the May meeting there was originally another meeting scheduled to take place on 12 June 2024. This meeting was cancelled due to the Chief Executives Group themselves having scheduled a development session.
Following recent discussions between senior leaders a revised approach to the Chief Executives Meetings has been put in place. This is reflective of broader work that is taking place to shift the function and focus of our NHS Chief Executive meetings.
The first meeting of the NHS Scotland Executive Group (reformed group) took place on 9 October 2024 and the minutes from this meeting will be published on www.gov.scot once approved.
