Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Information requested
- How many vehicles in the Government Car Service in Scotland have been used to transport documentation or any other items to Scottish Ministers without any minister sitting in the car. Please provide this number for 2022, 2023 and 2024 so far.
- How many times a private hire car (rather than a vehicle in the GCS) has been used to transport a minister to a location in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Please provide the number of occasions this has happened for each minister, the total cost in each calendar year and which company or companies this money was paid to.
- The total mileage recorded by vehicles in the Government Car Service and the estimated cost of the total mileage recorded in 2022, 2023 and 2024. If possible, please break down the mileage recorded by Scottish Minister in each year.
- An updated list of the vehicles in the Government Car Service in Scotland.
