Diversity and Inclusion objectives for Scottish Government staff: FOI release

Information requested

In reference to the FOI Response 202400442201, Annex A is a word document including the following text:

“Having a diversity and inclusion objective is mandatory for all staff. As part of that you are expected to complete annual mandatory inclusive culture learning. Although this is not the sole indicator of performance against the diversity and inclusion objective, completion is the expected minimum standard to achieve this objective”.

1.The words ‘diversity & inclusion objective’ include a hyperlink to a Scottish Government document. Please provide a copy of that document.

2.Please provide a full list of diversity and inclusion objectives for Scottish Government staff as of present date. By ‘diversity and inclusion objectives’ I mean to refer to the same thing as referred to in the above text from Annex A when it refers to the diversity and inclusion objectives that are mandatory for all staff.

3.Please provide a full list of Scottish Government performance indicators against diversity and inclusion objectives.

Response

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.

1. A copy of the diversity & inclusion objective document has been provided to you in our response to your FOI request 202400445449.

2. A copy has been provided of example D+I objectives, described as a full list of diversity and inclusion objectives for Scottish Government staff as referred to in Annex A.

3.You requested a full list of Scottish Government performance indicators against diversity and inclusion objectives. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 17(1) in this instance we do not hold that information.
