Information requested
1. Confirmation of whether or not the Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice has made any contact with the UK Government, including the DWP since the announcement on 5th December that Scottish Government will mitigate the two child benefit cap. If so please provide date of communication.
2. If the Cabinet Secretary has made contact, either in email or letter, then please provide a copy of that communication.
3. Confirmation of whether or not the Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice has requested information from the DWP that is required for the Scottish government to pursue the mitigation policy. If so please reveal date of communication.
4. If the cabinet secretary has requested that information from the DWP, please also provide a copy of that initial communication.
