1. Could you supply all documentation held by the Scottish Government, including correspondence sent and received, policy plans, minutes/notes from meetings, or briefings, which mention or are correspondence to or from Nicola Sturgeon, from the last 30 days?

2. Could you supply all documentation held by the Scottish Government, including correspondence sent and received, policy plans, minutes/notes from meetings, or briefings, which mentions the General Election, from the last 30 days?

Part one

Searches were conducted across the Scottish Government’s internal system for records management. Various items of information were identified as a result of these searches, some of which is enclosed in Annex A.

We narrowed the searches of information to the Scottish Governments internal system for records management, as in order to fully comply with your request we would have had to conduct searches across the email records of every Scottish Government civil servant, which would not be possible to do within the upper cost limit of £600.

Part two

Searches were conducted by staff in the Elections team of the Constitutional directorate. Various items of information were identified as a result of these searches, some of which is enclosed in Annex B.

We narrowed the searches of information to the Election team, as they were the most relevant team for your request, as in order to fully comply with your request we would have had to conduct searches across the email records of every Scottish Government civil servant, which would not be possible to do within the upper cost limit of £600.
