Forestry and Land Scotland draft corporate plan 2022 - 2025: consultation
Forestry and Land Scotland has developed a draft corporate plan which sets out the proposed direction of travel and priorities for the organisation for the next three years. The consultation seeks the views of all who have an interest in the national forests and land.
1. Introduction to the Corporate Plan Consultation
This is the draft Corporate Plan for Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) which sets out our proposed direction of travel and priorities for the next three years. FLS is responsible for managing Scotland’s national forests, and in so doing we will contribute to the delivery of a number of Scottish Government priorities including work to mitigate the impacts of the Climate Emergency and the move to Net Zero by 2045.
The purpose of this consultation is to seek the views of all who have an interest in the national forests and land (forests and land owned by Scottish Ministers on behalf of the people of Scotland). We are particularly interested in hearing views on our corporate outcomes and priorities which will frame the delivery of our work over the next three years.
The consultation period takes place between 11th October and 22nd November 2021. Your views will help us to develop the final version. At the end of the consultation period the plan will be concluded, reformatted with graphics and case studies and then submitted to the Minister for Environment and Land Reform in February for approval. We aim to publish the approved Corporate Plan on 1st April 2022.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views on this key document.
