Make effective contact with individuals and organisations to achieve a range of aims, over the phone, in writing or by e-mail. Gather information from a wide range of sources and in a variety of ways, for a range of purposes. These methods should include electronic searches using the Internet, reviews of relevant written materials and face-to-face, written and telephone contact with individuals and groups. Take account of different views when gathering information and assess the reliability and relevance of the information they have gathered. |
