Funding provided to local authorities: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Information requested

Your original request was to ask the Scottish Government in the past 5 years what funding provided to local authorities, relevant to both infrastructure and regeneration, has Inverclyde Council (1) bid for and received/rejected. (2) not applied for.

Following my request for clarification, you provided the following information:

  • Infrastructure: major capital projects, net zero projects, renewable technology, tackling inequality, telecommunications
  • Regeneration: housing, schools, community projects/empowerment, town centre regeneration, social inclusion.

Response

I attach a copy of some of the information you requested in Annex A. In addition, the Scottish Government publishes information on capital investment here: https://www.gov.scot/policies/regeneration/capital-investment/, as well as details of Scottish Government energy efficiency grant allocations to local authorities as part of Area-Based Schemes - gov.scot (www.gov.scot)

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested.

Inverclyde Council may hold information relating to your request. You can contact Inverclyde Council at customerservice@inverclyde.gov.uk
