12. Enforcement, Sanctions, and Monitoring

The strategy does not propose regulations or legislation therefore enforcement and sanctions will not be required. Scottish Government and the SSNGM will work with Health Boards to implement the actions in the strategy and accompanying action plans. As part of delivery, we will also develop a set of performance measures to monitor and report on both the implementation of the strategy and the overall delivery of genomic medicine services in Scotland.
