Information requested

All grants paid to JG Russell Haulage Contractors in regards to freight during the period 2017 to 2021 inclusive, this information to be presented in a matrix.

Response

A search has been undertaken and all awards made to JG Russell Haulage Contractors were under the Mode Shift Revenue Support scheme, this provides revenue support to companies to allow the movement of freight by rail instead of road where rail would be the more expensive option.

Transport Scotland (TS) provided a contribution to the awards made by the Department for Transport (DfT) in recognition to the benefits delivered in Scotland for routes which largely took place in England.
