9 While the study engaged with local authorities to access information on planning applications for Gypsy/Traveller sites received prior to 2005, the small number of applications recorded may in part reflect changes in recording practices and limitations on access to data, rather than a significant change in the number of applications received.

10 The study also confirmed that the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park Authority had not received any planning applications for private Gypsy/Traveller sites.
