Independent report by Webropol providing detailed information and analysis of staff experience in health and social care across Scotland during 2022


Board EEI Scores

EEI scores for individual Boards range from 85 for NHS Education for Scotland to 67 for the Scottish Ambulance Service.

Of the 22 Boards, sixteen have improved their EEI score in 2022 from 2021. Two Geographic Boards have increased their EEI scores by 3 points over 2021:

  • NHS Dumfries & Galloway from 72 in 2021 to 75 in 2022
  • NHS Forth Valley from 73 in 2021 to 76 in 2022

Four Boards have the same EEI scores as last year.

Only Public Health Scotland and NHS Western Isles have 2022 EEI scores that are lower than in 2021. Both are down by 2 points to 75 and 74 respectively.
