Homelessness prevention: business and regulatory impact assessment

Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment (BRIA) for the Homelessness Prevention provisions in the Housing (Scotland) Bill

Post-implementation Review

A monitoring and evaluation framework will be developed to allow for analysis of the impact of the duties. We will use existing data collections and any new or alternative collections resulting from the review of homelessness data collections to monitor trends and will gather qualitative information through a programme of regular engagement with local authorities, relevant bodies and frontline services.

We are committed to reviewing the impact of this change in conjunction with local authorities and relevant bodies on an ongoing basis, with an initial review being conducted 12 months after the duties have come into operation, which will be published within a further six months.
