Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA)

Data protection impact assessments (DPIA) are the main document used to demonstrate how an organisation uses personal data. It also records how that use is compliant with data protection legislation. Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UKGDPR) we need to complete a data protection impact assessment (DPIA) for all projects involving personal data and privacy. As no formal consultation is to be carried out on the updated Housing Land Audit guidance there is no requirement to carry out a DPIA.
