The Chair of the Independent Review of Adult Disability Payment is consulting on people's views about the first year of delivery. This will be used to help inform recommendations to ensure that Adult Disability Payment meets the needs of disabled people.
Section 8 – Re-determinations and appeals
People who disagree with a decision about Adult Disability Payment can ask Social Security Scotland for a re-determination.
A re-determination means a different team in Social Security Scotland looks again at the original decision. They make a completely new decision.
