Information on croft regulatory applications at Portanreidhlein, Islay: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Information requested

SGRPID Oban for all of their records regarding croft regulatory applications at Portanreidhlein, Islay, including all internal emails and timetables in regard to this case, and your request to the commission is over and above this. You requested all of the 'paperwork' that SGRPID has in regard to processing this application - all records in Oban - including emails. The Commission can only evidence what Oban sent to them, and you want evidence of all the work the Oban office did on this case.

You are particularly interested in the path of the missing report - who it was sent to in error and what the response from that party was. Also any information relating to why SGRPID's visit to your croft was delayed when it could have been made earlier - presumably there are records to support these events - and you would like to see them. You also wanted to see evidence to support the instruction and reasoning behind cleaning out the ditch.

Response

I enclose a copy of the information we hold that falls within the parameters of your request. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption under section 38(1)(a/b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information.

Copies of the email attachments referenced in the information released are all applications, maps, objection letters, and SGRPID reports which can be obtained by you as the applicant from the Crofting Commission.
