Information requested

The most recently published minutes for the Advisory Council for Economic Transformation (for a meeting held in October 2021) include the following action point:

  • Aset of slides will be quickly developed which playback the Council's feedback and tests what this means for the vision, objectives and actions, thereafter, the strategy will be revised and a further meeting of the Council set up.
  • Please provide the slides referenced in the above action point, and all communications relating to the action point between Council members and the Scottish Government (including Ministers, Civil Servants, and Special Advisers).

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide all of the information you have requested because an exemption under section(s) s.29(1)(a) (policy formulation) of FOISA applies to that information. The reasons why that exemption applies are explained below in the Annex to this letter.

This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
