Some people don’t apply for Adult Disability Payment because they don’t think they are disabled. Some people don’t apply because they worry what other people think about getting benefits.
I recommend:
A specific strategy to promote people getting Adult Disability Payment.
Make it easier to use the Local Delivery and Independent Advocacy services:
- Let people make appointments in other ways than by phone. This could be online or in person.
- Let other organisations refer people to the Local Delivery service.
