Second release of a monthly data report on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the justice system in Scotland, including information from Police Scotland, Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, courts and prisons.
101 and 999 call volumes
Total weekly 999 & 101 calls remain below 2019 levels
- The number of 999 calls has risen through July, while 101 calls have fallen to their lowest levels seen since March.
- In the week ending 2nd August there were 40,216 calls made.
- When combined, calls were down 1% on the previous week.
