You asked for the total legal costs to date for the judicial review on the statutory guidance for the Gender Representation on Public Boards (Scotland) Act 2018, with a break down to show the costs for the judicial review and the costs since then relating to the appeal.

The answer to your question is that the legal costs incurred by Ministers, at the date of your request on 7/10/2023, are as follows:
(a) Total legal costs for petition at the outer house stage - £37,711

(b) Legal costs for the inner house ( appeal ) - £1,264
