A report to the Scottish Parliament on progress being made in implementing Scotland's Marine Protected Area (MPA) network.
14. Introduction to the annexes
The tables in these annexes provide information required under Section 103 of the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010 and Section 124 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009.
Further information on individual MPAs can be accessed in the following ways:
- Inshore waters via Nature Scot's Site Link
- Offshore waters via JNCC 's Offshore MPA Site Information Centres
- The MPAs can be viewed through the Marine Scotland Maps (NMPi) portal
- Fully attributed GIS site boundary files for all sites in the network are available from the Nature Scot Open Data Hub
- MPAs in UK waters can be viewed via JNCC's interactive MPA mapper
- Summary data for all internationally designated UK protected areas and their features, including boundary layers are available from JNCC's UK Protected Area Datasets for Download
