Referrals and assessment following a loss

All sites were asked if they provide or can access referrals and assessments for support services following a loss.

In NHS Forth Valley, Forth Valley Royal Hospital were aksed if they are able to provide the assessments and referrals listed in Table 17 below. The majority of referrals and assessments are carried out at the Royal Hospital, with the exception of assessments of women for risk of psychological distress following miscarriage. For these assessments, the assessment tool is not available and women are provided with information about other available services.
