1. The Forum included representatives from across the public sector and also from relevant professions and other stakeholders. The Forum provided the main mechanism to deliver cross sector agreement on issues relating to the form and content of this Model Plan and the accompanying Guidance Document. Members of the Forum represented the views of their respective sectors, as well as comments on the general principles of good records management. The Guidance Document is drawn from guidance already in existence or in the course of being developed.
