The industry which made the biggest contribution to overall contraction in GDP in November was Professional, Scientific and Technical Services sector Information & Communications, which contracted by 3.5%, contributing -0.3 percentage points to the November headline figure of -0.5%. The Manufacturing sector contributed ‑0.2 percentage points to overall contraction in GDP.

In November, output in the Information & Communications grew by 1.1%, contributing 0.1 percentage points to headline GDP.
