11. Legal Aid Impact Test

The refreshed strategy is advisory and places no new statutory obligation on any party – whether public, private or third sector. It does seek to take account of the existing statutory and policy environment. There are therefore no expected impacts on Legal Aid. Any substantive actions as a result of implementation of the refreshed strategy will need to be considered by the lead delivery partner for their own individual Business Regulatory Impact Assessment.
