Net zero tests on electricity (2022) and gas (2023) procurement: EIR release

Information request and response under the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004.

Information requested

Was a net zero or similar test applied to the electricity procurement summer 2022? What were the relative carbon emissions of the choices reviewed? What was the out come of that decision?

Also will a net zero or similar test be applied to the gas procurement 2023? If not why not? It cannot be commercially sound in the long term for a health organisation to contribute to worsening of the greatest health challenge known to our race.
