Information requested

On 12th May 2023, Minister for Independence, Jamie Hepburn published an article on yes.scot in which he stated:

“Work is well underway to produce new materials for our activists.”

Please disclose the number of Scottish Government employees who have worked on producing new
materials for “Yes movement” activists, broken down by position, pay scale, and, where possible,
named.

Response

No civil servants have been involved in the production of material for the “Yes movement”.

As per the Civil Service Code, Civil Servants are not permitted to act in a way that is determined by party political considerations, or use official resources for party political purposes.
