Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Information requested

A list of all organisations - past and present - which have been funded by the Equality and Human Rights Fund via the Scottish Government.

  • All six month progress update reports given to Inspiring Scotland by organisations benefitting from funding via the Equality and Human Rights Fund.

Response

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.

A list of organisations funded under the Equality and Human Rights Fund is available on our website and I attach a link:

Equality funding: Promoting Equality and Cohesion Fund 2017-2021 - gov.scot (www.gov.scot)

We do not hold individual update reports on organisations benefitting from funding but Inspiring Scotland have recently published an overall report on the first 6 months of funding: https://www.inspiringscotland.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Equality-and-Human-Rights-Report-to-Scottish-Government-October-21-March-22.pdf

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. The reason is that the fund is managed on our behalf by Inspiring Scotland.

However, you may wish to contact Inspiring Scotland who may be able to help you. Please note, Inspiring Scotland are not subject to the Freedom of Information legislation.
