PFOW MSP Regional Locational Guidance. This Regional Locational Guidance has been produced to assist developers in the wind, wave and tidal renewable energy industry to choose sites of maximum opportunity and minimum constraint.
Acknowledgments
This Regional Locational Guidance has been developed by Marine Scotland Science on behalf of the working group that is producing the pilot PFOW Marine Spatial Plan. The guidance is based on previous work that was carried out to support the Sectoral Marine Plans for Wind, Wave and Tidal energy. This guidance uses the information provided previously for the North Region and adapts it for the PFOW area. The document was updated on the basis of comments received from stakeholders in response to a consultation in 2015.
