Police Negotiating Board Agreement

1. The Official and Staff Sides of PNB have reached agreement on the revised rates for allowances. Details are set out in the attached memorandum.

2. This Police Negotiating Board agreement has been approved by Scottish Ministers. The Scottish Police Authority now has the authority to implement this agreement*. In due course, the relevant Minister will make formal determinations.

Memorandum

The Official and Staff Sides of PNB have reached agreement on a pay award for police officers, as set out in PNB circular 2022/03, the revised rates for allowances are as follows:

Additional Disruption Allowance

With effect from 1 April 2022 the Additional Disruption Allowance is set at £45.18.

Dog Handlers Allowance

With effect from 1 April 2022 the Dog Handlers Allowance is set at £2,531.41.

Excessive Rest Day Disruption Allowance

With effect from 1 April 2022 the Excessive Rest Day Disruption Allowance is set at £21.46.

Minimum Standards Allowance

With effect from 1 April 2022 the Minimum Standards Allowance is set at £101.65.

On-call Allowance

With effect from 1 April 2022 the On-call Allowance is set at £27.03.

Overnight Disruption Allowance

With effect from 1 April 2022 the Overnight Disruption Allowance is set at £67.77.

Plain Clothes Allowance

With effect from 1 April 2022 the Plain Clothes Allowance is set at £15.27.
