Policy Statement for the Creative Industries

This statement sets out the Scottish Government's priorities in relation to the creative industries in Scotland. It articulates our vision for the sector and highlights a number of areas that we consider important for its development, and which we continue to work towards.

The purpose of the statement is to provide clarity and focus around our work for the sector and help align priorities with those of our partners, creative businesses and other stakeholders.

Rather than a final statement, it should be considered an on-going conversation which allows us to seek common ground, work more strategically, and adapt our priorities to achieve the best outcomes for the sector.
