Scottish Procurement aims to deliver benefits to the people of Scotland through improved value for money for taxpayers, improved goods and services for all our citizens and economic opportunities for Scotland. This is achievable through effective collaboration throughout the procurement cycle.

Introduction

This document has been developed to provide a simple guide for public and third sector bodies who are considering using the Scottish Procurement Supply of Natural Gas Framework.

Following a stringent procurement process as required by public procurement legislation, Scottish Procurement can now announce that the re-let of the  Framework for the Supply of Natural Gas has been signed and awarded to TotalEnergies Gas & Power Limited.

The framework is for an initial period of three years, with options to extend for a further three annual extensions. Supply of Natural Gas under the new framework is due to begin 1 April 2025, with an initial 12 month trading already commencing from 1 April 2024.

Sites will be transferred automatically from the current framework.
