Property controls: guidance for public bodies

The public bodies in scope of Property Controls are those covered by the Scottish Public Finance Manual (SPFM) for leasehold and property acquisitions. The guidance brings together the principles of the Single Scottish Estate and business case best practice into a single document.


4. Which bodies are in scope of Property Controls?

The Bodies in scope of Property Controls are those covered by the SPFM:

  • the constituent parts of the Scottish Administration (i.e. the core SG, the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, SG Executive Agencies and non-ministerial departments); and
  • bodies sponsored by the SG.
