Public bodies' corporate function data, data as at financial year 2022/23

Management information data on public bodies’ corporate functions.

Since the microdata were published on the 19th of November, an error was identified in the data for Scottish Enterprise. This error was introduced due to a technical issue while Scottish Government analysts were processing the data, and affects the value of Scottish Enterprise’s Corporate Function Spend on Finance (staff costs only) and Digital and Data (all costs). These values are corrected in the latest version of the microdata. This issue should not affect any other data.

Additionally, correcting these values has led to changes to the aggregate tables. Tables 3 and 8 have been updated accordingly.

This is an ad-hoc release of management information and does not constitute an Official Statistics or National Statistics release.

The Code of Practice for Statistics was published by the UK Statistics Authority in February 2018 to set standards for organisations in producing and publishing official statistics and ensure that statistics serve the public good. Whilst the data are not designated as official statistics, the principles of transparency of high-quality analytical outputs to inform decision making and the public underpin this data release: a statement of compliance is available at the ‘Voluntary compliance’ tab of the spreadsheet of tables.
