Response

I attach a copy of the advert for the DG Economy role. It was advertised on 10 October 2022 with a closing date of 7 November 2022. The advert was posted on the Scottish Government Work for Scotland vacancy website, Civil Service Jobs, LinkedIn. It was also advertised on the Gatenby Sanderson website as the company was engaged to receive responses to the advert and conduct executive search. We received 13 applications and 4 candidates were shortlisted and interviewed.

As explained above, Gatenby Sanderson was engaged to receive all applications and to conduct executive search. The Scottish Government did not contact any potential candidates directly.
