Resource planning assumptions: 2024 to 2025
Council areas across Scotland are to share £510.782 million in grant funding in 2024 to 2025 to deliver more affordable homes. This sum includes an additional £40 million of funding which was announced in April 2024.
The £40 million for 2024 to 2025 has been allocated on the following basis – 80% of the funding allocated on the basis of a formula to the five priority local authority areas with the highest numbers of children in temporary accommodation and the remaining 20% allocated on the same allocation basis, but across the remaining 27 local authorities. This allocation methodology was agreed with COSLA and Ministers in August 2024.
