This resource has been developed to support staff working in general practice. It is intended to help all staff contribute to the link worker function within the Services, by providing a directory of additional sources of help and support, that people can be connected in with.

Money Advice provide clear, practical advice and support for people experiencing issues with mental health and money.

11.2 Mental Health and Money Worries: advice for frontline staff

Supporting those with mental health and money worries: advice for frontline staff is a helpful advice pack that signposts to information, assistance and training resources for frontline staff who support individuals affected by poor mental health and money worries.

11.3 Debt and Mental Health Evidence Form

The debt and mental health evidence form helps creditors understand any mental health issues people are experiencing. The form can only be completed by health and social care professionals and can often make a real difference to the individual’s health and financial situation. It will give the organisation they owe money to information that may change the way they are collecting a debt, and this can have a positive effect on the individual’s wellbeing and financial circumstances.
