Mental health and wellbeing in primary care services: resources

This resource has been developed to support staff working in general practice. It is intended to help all staff contribute to the link worker function within the Services, by providing a directory of additional sources of help and support, that people can be connected in with.

Appendix 4: Local contacts – Children and Young People – Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Supports and Services Framework

The Scottish Government provides local authorities with £15 million per annum to fund community-based mental health and wellbeing supports and services for children and young people aged 5-24 (26 if care-experienced) and their families. The services are focused on prevention and early intervention, and include supports for positive mental health and wellbeing as well as emotional distress. Local authorities determine which supports and services to implement on the basis of local need and in line with the supporting Framework. Supports and services are available in every local authority area, and more information about these can be found using the details listed below.
