Review of Lung Cancer Quality Performance Indicators: consultation
A consultation on the revised Lung Cancer Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs), which were revised following a formal review.
2. Quality Performance Indicator Development Process
The QPI development process was designed to ensure that indicators are developed in an open, transparent and timely way. The development process can be found in appendix 1.
The Lung Cancer QPI Development Group was convened in November 2011, chaired by Dr Hilary Dobson (Regional Lead Cancer Clinician, WoSCAN). Membership of this group included clinical representatives drawn from the three regional cancer networks, Healthcare Improvement Scotland, ISD and patient/carer representatives.
