Land use strategy: annual progress report 2021/2022
Third annual progress report on Scotland's land use strategy, as required under Section 37A of The Climate Change (Emissions Reduction Targets) (Scotland) Act 2019. It covers the period of March 2021 to March 2022.
Examples of actions towards sustainable land use in 2021
- £22m for peatland restoration
- £500,000 for “Wee Forests” network
- New agri vision and £51m National Test Programme
- £10m Nature Restoration Fund
- £2.5m awarded from Island Communities Fund
- £30m awarded to rural businesses in AECS 2021 round
- £12m extra support to protect our coasts
